Privacy

What we collect

• Your email address and account. Confirming your email from the link we send creates an account for you (or adds the video to the one you have), so all your videos are in one place. That first confirming click also signs you in on that browser. After that you sign in with a 6-digit code we email you. There is no password. Forms of one address that reach the same mailbox (with a +tag, for example) share one account.
• The photos you upload and the clips and videos made from them.
• Branding and details you add: logo, agent names, phone numbers, headshots, the property address and features, an auction time, a voice-over script, and music or voice recordings you upload.
• Saved agents. If you have an account, the agents you put on your videos (name, phone, headshot) are saved so you can pick them next time. You can remove any of them on your account page.
• Your video history. Your account keeps a list of every video you got and used: bought, used on a property (its address while that video exists), or given by us. You see it on your account page.
• Payments. Our payment processor handles your card; we never see your card number. We keep what you paid, when and in which currency.
• Messages you send to support and our replies.
• Security data. A token derived from your IP address (not the address itself), used to limit how often codes, uploads and messages can be sent, and a random token that ties a sign-in code to the browser that asked for it.
• Ad visits, as described under Ads below.

Why

To make, deliver and let you edit your video, keep your account, take payment, give the Platinum videos we promise, read your messages, and keep the service secure and free from abuse. Our legal bases are performing the service you asked for (contract) and, for security, abuse prevention, measuring our ads and the occasional email about Mixinum, our legitimate interests. We don't sell personal information or use your photos for marketing or model training.

Who else handles it

Service providers process data for us, only to run the service: hosting and storage, sending email, taking payment, computers that make the video, and automated tools, including AI models, that look at your photos to put them in tour order, and that write a voice-over script when you ask for one. They may be outside your country, with appropriate safeguards. A person at Mixinum looks at your photos and video only to help you, to fix a problem or to stop abuse.

Emails

We send the emails your videos need (confirm, ready, failed, about to be deleted, sign-in codes, support replies). Besides those, once you have made a video and gone quiet, we email you about Mixinum: about 30 days after your last video, then 60, 90, 120 days after each email before it, and from then on every 120 days. When you have no Platinum videos left, that email puts one Platinum video in your account; while it is unused, the next email reminds you of it; while you have other Platinum videos left, we send none. Every one of these has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops them (and the Platinum videos that come with them) and never stops the emails about your videos. If an email to you bounces or is reported as spam, we stop emailing that address.

Cookies

We use only our own cookies, none from anyone else: one that keeps you signed in (a year, or until you sign out), a short one while a sign-in code is on its way (30 minutes), one that remembers this browser has confirmed your email so you don't confirm every upload (a year).

Ads

There are no ad trackers on this site: no tracking scripts, pixels or third-party cookies. When you arrive from one of our ads, we count the visit against that ad campaign. In the UK and Europe that is all: we keep no cookie and no reference to your click, and we tell no ad platform anything about you. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat you as in the UK and Europe.

Agencies we send a sample video to

We may make a free sample video from photos an agency has published for a listing, and email it to the agency or its agent at the address they publish. For that we keep the listing's address and the agent's name and email address as published. If the sample is never sent, we delete them after 90 days. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep your address on a do-not-contact list so we never do.

How long we keep it

• Videos (with their photos, clips and branding): 30 days after the video is ready, or 30 days after payment. Photos that never become a video: 30 days after upload. Photos whose email is never confirmed: a day.
• Your account and saved agents: until you ask us to delete the account. Deleting it removes the account, its saved logo and agents; its Platinum videos left are lost, and any video still live becomes a guest video that is deleted on its usual date.
• Payment records, and the record of videos bought, given and used: kept as our business records.
• Support messages: 365 days after the last message.
• Ad click references: 90 days after the click.

Your rights where you live

We follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can ask to access, correct (rectify) or erase your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. You can also complain to your country's data protection authority.
